The Turkish state has reached an all-time high fascist-colonialist practices in Kurdistan. The AKP regime has not only disregarded its own laws but also universal jurisdiction by imposing aggravated isolation conditions and psychological torture against the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan for the past 4 months. These implementations are not based on any moral and juridical bases but aggravation of these conditions target the deepening and spread of the war.
The isolation conditions and psychological torture implemented against our leader have not yielded any results. Thus the AKP leadership has decided to widen the tools of warfare employed against our leader. Indeed, the operations taken up under the name of KCK, targeting of the academies and all the other attacks are in essence the result of the warfare against the political line and system of our leader. AKP colonialism, which could not capitulate the Kurdish people, hopes to attain results by attacking our leader in all possible ways and by trying to detach the people from their leader.
AKP has now declared its real intention with multiple operations taken up in 16 cities. This operation has targeted the Asrin Law Office and the lawyers of the Kurdish People's Leader. Thus the real reason behind the yesterdays meeting between the Prime Minister and the related institutions and ministers is better understood. In the person of our leader, there is a clear warfare waged against the system, political line of our leader as well as the people of Kurdistan themselves. This warfare is not based on any juridical grounds. The only laws that apply are the laws of colonialist hegemony.
There is no other way to explain why all the politicians with a free and independent stance as well as all the lawyers of our leader APO have been targeted. The AKP state has yet again proven its fear of our leader Apo, the Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people. It has also proven that it will do all that it can to counteract them, to capitulate the Kurdish people and to weaken them all. They have also shown that in order to achieve all this they shall have no respect for any laws or rules. It is thus quite clear that such a stance is nothing but the escalation of war.
Prime Minister Erdogan, although is responsible for the worst despotic fascist implementations in Kurdistan, without shame calls on the neighbouring countries to “listen to the voice of their people”. This is nothing but hypocrisy. It is almost as if he is not the same person who orders police and state terror against the Kurdish people, ignores its own rules and laws, uses weapons banned by international conventions against freedom fighters. Such hypocrisy displayed by the Turkish Prime Minister is a disgrace against the humanity.
The current representative of the Turkish state today is AKP. This state has taken up many massacres and genocides against the Kurdish people. It is interesting that at such a time when AKP itself has revised the genocidal policies in Dersim it would talk about the massacres taken up in Dersim. AKP has dirty political dealings and interests in doing this. It is however clear that the Republic of Turkey as a system must face its own history, expose all the realities and apologize for the massacres and genocides taken up. If not problems can not be resolved and democracy in Turkey can not be developed. In the absence of such an approach AKP shall face the same end as all the past political parties in Turkey.
It should be known that the Kurdish people are such a people to have created a leader such as Apo and have in return equipped themselves with his system of thought. The Kurdish people have attained the present level through an honourable resistance despite all the difficulties and torture inflicted. None of the present fascistic practices shall make them take a step back or weaken the united power of the leader of freedom and people.
All circles in Turkey who are for the unity of peoples, common life, peace and democracy should get into action in order to stop AKP's fascistic practices which speedily leading the process into a strategic warfare. It should be known by all that our leader Apo is the only junction that shall allow for Kurdish and Turkish people to live together. Attacks on our leader Apo, targeting his lawyers, trying to diminish his influence is nothing but to put a dynamite under the unity of Turks and Kurds. With the attacks of today the operations of AKP until today have reached a level, which called red line, that can no longer be tolerated. Thus we call on all circles who are for peace and democracy to not remain silent in the face of these racist, fascist attacks of AKP which triggers a strategic war.
The patriotic people of Kurdistan should know that these attacks target the elimination of our leader as well as his influence and the enslavement of the people of Kurdistan. AKP is preparing to make the same old colonial constitution but dressed in new gear. These attacks target the silencing of the Kurdish people, reduce their influence and thus enable the new constitution to pass in comfort. AKP demands that the Kurdish people accept enslavement. They therefore wish to cut the bond between our leader and the people, to silence our leader to attain their desired results.
All our patriotic people and revolutionary youth of Kurdistan should know that the utmost target of these AKP practices is to break down the Serhildan (uprising) movement and render the Kurdish people incapable of uprisings. This is the reason behind such harsh measures. All the patriotic and democratic institutions and establishments in Kurdistan must respond by stepping up the Serhildan movement. The only way to stop these wretched attacks is to show a social reaction against these practices. It is incorrect to have an expectation that “a new process shall begin”. This is nothing but self-deception and to pave the way for fascist practices of AKP. Therefore all the patriotic forces must know that we can attain results through resistance and unity under the political line of our leader. Such a response filled with spirit of serhildan should be given in the 33rd anniversary of PKK. We call on all our patriotic forces to see all these facts and to show the freedom will of our people against the colonial injustices of AKP making all the necessary sacrifices. We call on all of you not to stay silent in the face of these injustices and to raise your organized voice.
In particular our people should be aware that a new and political struggle and leap forward has commenced and thus should strengthen its organization and target success on the basis of a high level participation.
