Complexity in utterance is contingent on being a great listener and student. The weaker the concentration and comprehension of the student, the less meaning or value would there be in our utterance. We also have this problem amongst us.

The action carried out by the party is enormous, however, those who understand this are rather small or those who are in a position to understand and fight are almost dwarfs. However, of course it is not the individual’s fault. This is based on a national and social reality, especially on the reality of family. This renders you so listless and meaningless that all our insistence is fruitless. The issue is not about the nature of one’s intentions, or having the courage to fight, nor about offering everything one has. It is a matter of greater creativity, comprehension, continuous anticipation, demand and realisation without being contented with what is acquired.

This is the only way in which an absolute revolution would result in success for us. Otherwise, it is inevitable for your contentedness to result in a grave failure, in spite of all your sincerity and self-sacrifice. The fact that you are not a man of action who creates himself is your own misfortune and wretchedness. It is simply distressing to look at you. Your lack of assertiveness and helplessness is almost screaming; “this is what I am; do not expect more from me”. The fact that you act bona fide renders the process more tragic and regretful. For instance, you might be excited about me; your thoughts, hopes and spirit may be revived. However, although thousands of you are standing before me, I hardly feel exhilarated. It is because you have no claims, ambitions or actions to create it, which is my tragedy. My predicament is great and life is painful, but I have to be contented with myself. I have to help and manage myself. I have to succeed not only in the war against the enemy but also in the war against myself.

What do you think war is? You do not even by-pass war, which is worrying. I compare your situation with my ten years old self; I see you as inactive, lacking in anticipation, excitement and desire. We should of course solve the mystery. It is not a destiny. We have to bring to account everything that rendered you this way. I see that you fear facing your reality. You are in a so empty, indistinct, worn-out and unproductive position that you are unable to take care of yourself. This is covered up in lies. Your social philosophy is that – I hope that you study philosophy in a realistic manner - ; making yourself seem different what you really are, even leading a life that totally opposes reality. Yes, this is your basic philosophical peculiarity. For us, philosophy means to “manage to disguise yourself”. This is unfortunate and very dangerous philosophy. In fact, this may even be called lack of philosophy; may be expressed as a lack of formidable approach to life or even being devoid of a world-view.

I always question myself when I am trying to influence you. Why do I exist in this world? What should the basis for my existence be? What are the reasons for my existence? What are the reasons, which compel me to exist and accept myself? In addition, what are the reasons that render my existence unnecessary? It is impossible to live without thinking of these things. Nevertheless, consider yourselves; you are already in denial of the reasons of your existence. As well as avoiding to question, you also regard lie, deceit and covering things up with misconduct as a philosophy of life. Perhaps the reason you lose is that you lack a strong philosophical outlook. The philosophical outlook that is imposed on you is so patriarchal that it constitutes the source of your social demise. The individual is submissive under the enslaving yoke of foreign domination. This is the conceptual basis for becoming indistinct and devoid of creativity. Regardless of how much you try, it is inevitable for you to end up in a worse position than a slave is.

You have lost your basic view of freedom. It is as though you were raised without a philosophy or your philosophy is that of the enemy. Frankly, ever since I remember, my greatest action has been the reaction, which I demonstrated against this approach that is a danger to human essence. Moreover, I remember: I was able to conceptualise the contradiction during my relationship with children, families and through the village population. I started thinking, I must not be like them, and I must be different. Everybody was trying to be the gallant son of the family and parents, but I believed in the necessity of reacting to it. While everybody was getting along well in his or her patriarchal and orderly ways, I started to question. We were trying to recreate ourselves, while you allowed yourselves to be shaped in accordance with the requirements of the established order and the patriarchal society.

The result is a type of personality against which we struggle, a personality unsuitable to the party, army, life, or kind treatment; the result is a huge contradiction. Your war and social reality would not have involved so many weaknesses unless you had not many faults. Would you have been in such a regretful situation if you had strong personalities? Would the work of the party and struggle have been so full of mistakes? Still, the strangest thing is that you accept yourselves as you are. As well as not being contented with myself in spite of my entire struggle, I am actively searching for the ways in which I can be successful. Nevertheless, you cannot even take a criticism.

What will happen? The most you can become, given the current order of things, is not any different from the position of those petty idolaters in the face of the old Islam and a great revolution. Although you believe you have now entered the war-zone, I believe you cannot even show the courage to be in the arena or even begin to utter your belief in it. I get worried while thinking what sort of path should be determined and indicated for these people to follow. It is because they are falling far behind in life due to some ugliness, misery and failure.

Strong personality does not appear through external influence, force or encouragement. Those who do not think big, who do not feel great anguish and anger, and those who do not have great ambitions cannot possibly develop through encouragement or interest. You should recall that the only factor of each step of development only takes place thanks to such simple push or encouragement. In this sense, your personality cannot go any further than that of a classical wage earner or boss.

I wish you knew how to discuss, while discussing philosophy. Your comprehension itself is in chains. I would not be happy with these contradictions my whole life, even in a hundred years. While I am still trying to influence you, philosophical dilemma is rendering even the most valuable works meaningless. The most important factor in this is egotism. The philosophy that underlies egotism and self-indulgence is the acceptance of weakness, failure and contentedness. Even the most prominent personalities amongst you find themselves in the same situation due to the same approach.

The PKK authority and philosophy has a philosophical basis. Despite the fact that it is being denied there is a philosophical outlook that we are trying to render dominant. However, precisely because people, who belong to the philosophy, are not able to adjust themselves to its authority and responsibility, which may also be due to egotism, the party faces erosion. Loss of part leadership takes place.

However, PKK has a philosophical basis. If you insist on egotism, you would lose even before the enemy takes a single step. This philosophy can only be used to conquer the castle from inside in the name of the enemy. You may see the problem in depth: This personal philosophy that is prevalent in our society only creates the most objective agent. Clearly, our society is not losing under the daily siege by the enemy. This quasi world-outlook is the most basic reason for defeat. Our society has not only been conquered, it has been torn apart into pieces and has very few pillars left.

Are you actually able to understand the philosophy of the party? It is a very important real issue. Do not diminish the importance of philosophical approach, as this is the first area where you should fight. I recall that I never had a serious philosophical education. I have been studying bits and pieces of philosophy, and did not know much in terms of religion either. I was so influenced for a while that I could hardly stand still. I felt being so consumed by mistrust and doubt that nobody could help me. I did not know who to trust or what to live for.

The years of my philosophical research were extremely painful. As I said, my comprehension was weak, and cultural level was not suitable. My research was not enough even when I had a limited interest in socialism. It is not enough to read philosophy just to be able to understand it. It is related to practical life, which is multi-dimensional. Practical life itself may direct you towards philosophy. You would be led to the negative or positive, the philosophy of freedom or philosophy. I assume you have never been engaged in a philosophical struggle. To be more precise, you may have been shaped under the influence of an outlook more dangerous than the old forms of slavery, internalising everything you are given, unaware of the existing dominant order. Hence, you do not feel the need for a philosophy of freedom. This is the approach that makes you lose right at the outset. Why is it that there are no longer any great philosophical discussions? Because you lack the political, military and philosophical knowledge, you are not able to understand politics and military science, or at best possess bits and pieces of information.

My current military and political leadership is also closely related to my philosophical reality. I would not be able to solve such intense military and political problems and continue with the war without a philosophical conception. For you, however, the situation is the exact opposite. The philosophy that you advocate in the name of philosophy is actually the lack of it. Even when the party gives prominence to certain ideas, you prefer to evade it and thus choose to become so-called man of action. Your approach is “the more the individual is independent of thought, the better he or she can be in practice”, an approach in which you are likely to find and accept yourself. Apparently, every great revolution involves conflict of ideas, religion and sects. This is the conflict of perceptions. Anybody who cannot triumph in the war of perceptions, cannot be strong and succeed at the subsequent stages.

This is what we will try to prove with a philosophy lesson: The fact that you are currently unable to demonstrate a strong approach to military and political problems, lack of intense discussions, hence the lacks of any meetings are related to lack of philosophical perception. Under such conditions, each practical step is bound to end up in failure. Therefore, the solution is to get rid of the philosophy of slavery and to adopt the true world-view. I am not talking about the basic principles of philosophy. I have read G. Politzer’s book, which is a classic. However, our real war started with the social judgements. It is not that books cannot be utilised, but the main book is the book of life.
Life really is a great school. It is also a school of philosophy.

I will give clear examples: Although I was not much knowledgeable or a keen reader, I did not like the conditions in which I was born. I imagined solutions and the ways in which things had to be. This was only a desire, but an important one. I was not contented with what the family, village population and the established order offered me. My search intensified, as I grew more and more knowledgeable. However, what does it mean to demand more? I want a new country, people and a new life. Then the question was how to create them. It meant that power was needed, but what sort of power and where was it to come from. This was possible with an organisation, a party and relationships. All these are interrelated.

“I do wish to create the best, but do not have the strength to do it”. This is contradictory. Clearly, asking for more requires one to act more. Otherwise, deceit and low quality would be prevalent all over the society, as it is. Then, what one would see is exhaustion and imploring. Again, this is a problem of lack of a basic philosophical education.
Big demands require big deeds.

For instance, we need the army as much as we need water and bread. There is a big danger that is destroying our longing, our life and identity. There are certain barriers before our philosophical search. It is threatening the reason for our existence. We would be able to feel it as a whole when we are able to conceptualise it. Then the question becomes; “How do I eliminate this great danger in order to get what I need”? You would think that it would cost you a lot, and that is right. When you are able to understand it, then you will realise that you need to make a greater effort.

What is this great danger? We say that it is mainly the Turkish colonial state, or more specifically, its fascistic army as the concrete strength of the state. It has the power to take everything you have. The enemy we now have is more dangerous than enemies of the past. Perhaps monsters only swallowed the weaker ones, which could be by someone stronger. What we have now is a wholesale war against a people, a country and individual. The current technology and methods of exploitation are suitable for this, which makes the danger even greater. What you should be able to draw out of this is “I have to understand, get to know myself better and should get organised”. Considering that the enemy is enormous, you must understand that you need to be equally strong to transform yourself. You need to make a greater effort to create more to defeat the enemy and to realise your ambitions. You will need to do this in the name of freedom, against the established order of things

This is the step that philosophy of freedom requires you to take. You can trust yourself for this as you have the capacity to be more effective than an atomic bomb. You may ask how it can be done. This is possible by being organised. The egotism, which is the philosophy of the enemy, is actually the denial of being organised. It is related to logical, emotional and practical limitations. The result is a miserable individual. Having friends and a family is a source of weakness, daily bred by the enemy, who says, “your family is your everything, and all you need to be is a petty officer”. This philosophy helps you to lose. The philosophy of freedom diametrically opposes egotism and individualism. A great war requires great effort, great power and a great army.
How can you establish a great army? With the power of persuasion and education. It cannot be achieved through brutal force. Persuasion and propaganda requires a network of relationships.

Is that what you are doing? No. You do not know much of the philosophy of freedom, and even unable to manage yourselves, which means that you are completely under the influence of the philosophy of the enemy. You mean to say, “I neither support the philosophy of the enemy, nor the philosophy of freedom, I am only on my side”. This is an enormous lie. Being on your side is to be the objective agent and soldier of the enemy.

This is clearly a self-deception, which belongs to an individual, who is weak and does not know how to make demands. Are not most of you is this position? Can it create great action and attract appreciation? Therefore, it is not useful for politics or the art of war. It does not result in patriotism either. You would say, “This is my nature”. However, I explained why it is not so. This situation, which is against the basic human demand for freedom, is the consequence of a crooked, empty, egoistic and weak philosophy that had been shaped under influence of hundreds of years of foreign invasion. You may disguise if in any way you like, but will not evade this judgement. This basic egotistic approach of the enemy is in question for all those amongst you, who think; “I feel a block and not developing within the framework of the party”.

It is a requirement of our philosophy of freedom to reject this approach. I do not accept it. I reject not only you, but also the world that is imposed on us. You have to understand this. You should especially drop any excuses, if you are putting yourselves forward in the name of comradeship. It would only mean to make us part of your deception. It is a lie to say, “I could not make progress due to such and such reason, could not develop my thinking because of this and that, which is why I feel blocked and miserable”. It is also a great disrespect. This is the most common approach within our circles, which in fact, should not exist at all.

You cannot defend a situation in which indistinctiveness and slavery surround us from all quarters. Do not become defensive by looking for excuses for this. So, what are you supposed to do? You will struggle against it no matter how difficult it is. It may be very difficult, but, for me, essential. I believe the struggle is everything. Everything else in life is just a whole load of nothing. I insist on struggle. There is nothing else to make us richer and help us to pull ourselves together. It is even a struggle for a revolution. This war method is everything in a struggle for revolution. Everything else about life is irrelevant. This is philosophy.

I am trying to recognise who and what I am, how I got here. I have reached this situation thanks to struggle. I have spent so much effort that allowed me to make great progress. Even the enemy agrees that the organisation, method of action and life-style are very productive. The current characterisation of imperialism is “The centre, a personality that is creating great terror”, which means a personality that is engaged in a great struggle. Moreover, this is productive. It is not possible to create anything in any other way within our social reality. Lack of struggle is the worst. The compromise, lack of concentration and inactivity we mentioned are all expressions of the lack of struggle, which means stagnation. We have many other similar complex problems. You have not adopted the characteristics of a fighter: otherwise, the solution would have presented itself. Everything should be for the struggle, and in a manner befitting a struggler. It means a struggle in ideas, practice, organisation, relationships and every other possible area. At the end of the day, struggle can recreate you. It could strengthen even the ones who are lagging far behind. You have particular methods of struggle, attitudes and life-styles. That is where danger lies most. You are deceiving yourselves as if you will know how to live, as if it is possible to live, and this is so widespread. Struggle itself is being ignored. No, struggle is our only way of life. The organisation or individuals cannot get anything out of struggle if it is not based on war. Any other way of existence would only mean slavery, or today, to betrayal and association with the enemy. There is no so-called middle way. “Let me live a little,” means, “Let me strengthen the enemy a little”. Living with egotism is to turn your back to the army. The provocative question is “Will you be able to choose the right path in life and war”. Will you be able to intensify this internal war? This is the most important question. The worst is to ignore both the question and the answer and deceive oneself. This attitude is widespread amongst you.

My observation of the cadres revealed widespread nature of self-deception. Nobody would tell me this; they would even accept whatever I say. I have clearly reached a stage of greatness in life. The society pays attention to what I say like a religion. However, I am still engaged in the war of reality. My real, concrete war continues in the areas of philosophy, politics, military, and of course, in the organisation. Put yourselves in my shoes. The society and the party are ready to accept everything about me. I am certain that there are those who deceive themselves and believe in their own lies. If you were in my situation, you would have most probably lost yourselves.

A dictator, despot or a deceptive social leader would appear and becomes a nuisance on top of the society in this way. However, we are in a position to make our organisation and military method more efficient and accurate, by making progress in our merciless concrete reality. Although the best is being done to find answers to the reasons for lagging behind and why it is necessary to do better, this is never sufficient. If it were up to you, you would not go any further than deception. You would deceive the organisation, the army, resort to cheap tricks, and still seem to be engaged in war. This is taking place too. The result is ineffective leadership. According to you, the leader is the one who is an expert in the politics of deception. Politics is mostly about self-deception for you anyhow. The good political personality completely deceives or intimidates his circle, or immerses them in gifts. This is the current philosophy of the society.

There is a completely new situation in relation to our leadership, who sees the mistakes and finds the progress insufficient. He is able to analyse military and political problems a thousand miles away, better than the people that experience them on a daily basis, and creates solutions. The most gallant prefers the cheapest death. This is a bad result, which prevents the appearance of strong personalities. However, this is no destiny and it can be eliminated by remaining loyal to the method of leadership.

You cannot find a solution by soul-searching and relying on books. Therefore, you should give a meaning to the transformative leadership. In this sense, leadership means to do what might have been impossible by reading thousands of books. How would you evaluate the changes in the philosophy of Kurdish society, or the changes in the enemy society? The reality of leadership has created great changes.

Although our party is not able to see it clearly, scientists agree that there are great philosophical changes. Their attitude and world outlook has completely changed. Therefore, leadership is a creator of philosophy in its own right. Anyhow, our society does not have the opportunity to read much and does not possess the required cultural level, to create philosophy. However, it is possible to eliminate this thanks to leadership and live politics and philosophy simultaneously. The cadres and political commanders will come out of the same school simultaneously.

Our social reality and the method of domination over it require it. Instead of conceptualising and understanding it, it is being said, “You should leave it as both the enemy and politics are difficult. What is left behind is the rebellion of the peasantry, which is not very valuable and durable in the face of standing army. This type of rebellion is what we are trying to transform and renew in accordance with the requirements of war and its politics. Otherwise, you are not even a piece of food in the mouth of the enemy. Why should you turn a blind eye to the reality. If what is being said is true, which I believe they are, will you be able to accept the school of the party as it is. I find it hard to recognise you and give a meaning to what kind of school you belong. Most probably, your ability to listen is destroyed too. We would like you to find the strength to listen. You seem to have been made worse than a slave has. We have abolished slavery in the party. Anybody can talk as much as they wish. However, it is possible in addition, see that even the most responsible ones cannot speak for half an hour in a serious meeting, and their speech resemble that of Oesophagus, which is always unfinished. It is because you are in an unrecognisable condition.

The reality of leadership is a language. The first thing that he might have told his mother was “ I want bread” or “I want to take a walk in the mountains”. He starts a great action when the mother does not agree. Are you the one who has been opposing it, then get ready for a surprise! Then I questioned the state. “O state, this is what I want, you, who does not do what is required, will pay for it”. This is leadership.

He did a lot and spoke a lot for each of them. What did you do? “Thank God, my family, ancestors and state, we have saved the day”. This is philosophy. This is not a part of leadership. Otherwise, both the war and progress would cease. This is why the society accepts an approach of the basis of beliefs. The philosophical gap is filled in with the method of leadership, which is most needed at this stage. Therefore, you can also engage in this philosophical realisation through the method of leadership. You have neither the time nor the opportunity to read or question yourselves. The best thing you can do is to follow the leader due to the war.
Leadership is the accumulated philosophy, which is being implemented.

The school of philosophy is the most difficult one. It took centuries for some schools to be established and each had students of philosophy. They could not find the opportunity to deal with politics or war because of consequent influences. Alexander was influenced by Aristothales in an indirect way. He implemented this philosophy in the area of philosophy. Although, he read a lot Alexander was different than Aristothales. There are now such schools in history. The implementers are more different than the philosopher himself. In our case, both have to be realised at the same time. I have to be like a philosopher, politician and military leader at the same time. The war does not allow the gap to be filled in any other way. The method of exploitation forces you to live it all so suddenly. In this sense, our party is a school of philosophy, politics and war. They have to be experienced simultaneously.

We could not start a philosophical line for a long time due to our social reality. It was forbidden. It was forbidden to think, which is still the case. Independent political activities are also forbidden, punished by execution. Military thinking requires immediate annihilation in accordance with our social reality. The alternative is to cease thinking, associate with the enemy, or a slave-like soldier, who never talks. This is clearly the case. However, what happens when you choose freedom? This is why you should establish a school of philosophy, which was wished, required to be established for centuries. Then you should know how to demand, understand and explain it.

As I tries to explain the one, who does not know how to demand and explain is worse than a slave for me. The contemporary slave is masked, domesticated and wears make-up. The slaves of the Roman age lived under strict precautions. With the current precautions, all the stables are empty, however, the whole country is turned into a stable. Under these conditions, you believe that you are living in freedom. Roman slaves were not so honourless. Thanks to Spartacus, there has been a great resistance at every opportunity. History explains this in detail. However, under the conditions of imperialism, the most abject form of slavery takes place, especially in our country. It is because, the individual believes himself to be free. Especially if he is dressing and eating like an American or a German, he says, “Look, I am like them”. That is a serious self-deception, which is not true. Just as it was a lie for the slave to identify himself with the owner, it is an ever more dangerous lie to identify yourself with an American or a German. This is not the way a German is. His history, military and political background, culture and individual nature are mote different. The worker, who goes there only imitates them. This person is stuck in a deception, which again means dangerous contemporary slavery. The only way to eliminate it is to reject it.

He may have gone there due to economic reasons. I should be able demand freedom and bread in my own country, as there is a relationship between them. There is not freedom anywhere else. Your freedom is possible where your people are. In addition, the only way to do that is to demand more and increase your understanding and desire for freedom. When your comprehension improves, you can do more.

It is again very clear in the reality of leadership that the one who does not know how to demand, would not know what to do. The commanding cadres, who are no longer producing are the source of negativity in the party. In essence, he does not want or understand. He is philosophically and politically blocked. The result is nothing but failure. This person lacks the desire to succeed. Many central men are being questioned and in fact, they deserve execution. However, our organisation has a tradition of hearings. If execution is the verdict, rehabilitation is most probable.

Our social and national case may not find even a few men not to be subject to capital punishment if a hearing were to take place. They all deserve capital punishment. This is the situation both in the society and in the organisation. Only a few people may escape what the rules, the philosophy of the organisation requires. However, as there are extenuating circumstances, and as postponement is in question, we do not subject you to capital punishment. Do not forget that history will not forgive this when you are defeated by the enemy, or by your own desires, which is a heavy punishment.

Therefore, it is necessary to avoid committing these crimes. You are utterly miserable if you argue to the contrary. You are committing abject tricks for a single cigarette or being contented with simple friendship. I would ask you while judging you why you are being disrespectful to life, why you do not wan to live You cannot say that you do not deed it. If you do not need to live, why not die right now. If you say that you do not have any chance to live, you would be punishing yourself. You all want to live.

How else would you be respectful to life? It can only be realised by recognising its requirements, making it better and defending against the enemy. How can this be done? As disrespectful people, you cannot stand before the free people.

Another aspect of the reality of leadership is this: H e was not able to appear and speak before the people until he was able to relatively free himself. He was embarrassed for not being free. He put some steps forward when he believed that he was able to believe that he could be free. This was very important. However, your situation is to sorrowful and without embarrassment. How can you be so full of air, when you lack self-respect?

I find your method of speech rather ugly, as it is not based on freedom but deception. It has not even managed to understand the meaning of self-deception, which is why your utterance is dangerous, spreading virus. For instance, for me, it is not productive to develop the social cancer, which causes defeat that means death. A personality that is based on defeat is cancerous, which is the death of cells that cannot maintain itself during revolution as it renders danger imminent. Many of you suffer from this.
A personality that does not accept defeat is the most effective one.

What is most needed, now, is to form that personality that cannot be defeated that easily. Because it is the most important cure to maintain the health of the society. These are serious problems.

To be honest, even I find it hard to be with people. I have no strength to encounter the enemy in the way you do. Despite that, I have a method, which allows me to talk to people and to take an attitude against the enemy. However, the difference is that I do not do this through a great preparation. Most importantly, I constantly fight defeat. The result is self-respect, which is the honourable thing to do. The contrary is in question when you apply it to yourselves. This attitude does not exist, and much uncalculated methods are implemented against the enemy, which is bound to be defeated, causing lack of self-respect befitting an ugly, low, lying personality.

Philosophy certainly clarifies this. Will your claims improve despite this? If not, I would say, prepare a suitable death for yourselves, instead of preferring an ugly life.

I would have found it hard to be in this position, if it was not because of my hatred towards such a life. This method of struggle is the main factor of my existence. It is a struggle against your simplicity. You cannot be organised or included in the army. I am fighting against this too, which means to maintain myself. Nevertheless, you try to deceive both yourself and the others. Is this not the philosophy that is dominant over the peasantry, which means poverty and slavery? Is a gendarme not able to manage all this? Is this not the personality that applauds and says “bravo my pasha” when his national existence is destroyed. Moreover, this is where you have reached.


Why should you cover up what you are? It is against gallantry. You would be inactive. The result would be an angry society and warriors and a party who do not fulfil their duties. You are a liar if you say that you do not defend yourself. If you keep on insisting, you should be taken to court. Further insistence means that you are a counter revolutionary. You will not have any other way out and will get worse. I recall; the villager says, “Sir, do you see this donkey, its ears are long enough to touch the ground, this is the way we are, your words do not mean anything to us”?

I still remember. The villager was pure and honest about himself; you say it in a rather different way. However, the content is the same. The donkey does not understand, does not even swing his ears. This is a very dangerous situation.

The result is people in difficult situations. Even the African Negroes are in a better situation than we are. The yellow race, the Africans, and the nomads in the Arabian Desert are far more developed than we are. Ours is the most dangerous situation. Why is that? It is because we deceived ourselves by not correctly evaluating the struggle for freedom, which resembles paralyzing the body due to a wrong injection. We are a paralyzed society, thanks to the wrong injection of the enemy, destroying every single one of us. How long will this go on? This will continue until you manage your responsibilities, until you reach the basic understanding and requirement for freedom and action and be assertive. I would say that you would be paralysed until you reach this state, and do not have the right to live. You are paralysed and bed bound.

Currently, most of you are militarily and politically paralysed and in coma. If somebody like me does not maintain himself, you would be withering away day by day. Can you deny that? I am taking special precautions to make you live. Be realistic and understand even if it is too late, and fiercely question yourselves. At this age, I still question myself. The whole people are adoringly loyal to me. This is how they feel. So does the party. Are you not able to draw lessons out of why I never cease to question myself? This should be done because there is a need and answers that I cannot exactly find. Most importantly, I cannot fully do this. Therefore, I have to look for the ways to succeed. This cannot be denied, I cannot deny it.

What did some of you do? They have most irresponsibly evaluated the opportunity for freedom. What should they be replaced with? They are not brave or objective agents of the enemy. Where should they be placed as they are like the most dangerous agents of the enemy? The best of them this is the situation they are in, which is the most dangerous. The others, who live in slavery in a different way in the framework of PKK, are ill, which is also dangerous. You are the ones, who are going through this, this is your story.

This means that our school is not an ordinary one. You may not even respect me but do not forget that you are being managed in accordance with some military rules. You at least seem to have accepted this. How longer can you deny this school? How about the instructions? What about your so-called inclusion in the army of freedom? You have to consider all this. This means that everything is compelling you to think. There is no other way. There is a way to think and take action.
Leadership is also about thinking and improving the action.

The more you understand and do, the better friend and comrade you would be. Otherwise, both your friendship and comradeship are defective. Can we replace with the philosophy of madness? As the name implies, it is the philosophy of madness! “ I do not understand, and can choose any direction any time. This is how the mad people are.

The mad people are unpredictable and their comprehension is blurred. Many of you are in this position in the organisation. You cannot remain strong on the line, do not fully understand and able to do anything any time. This means to adjust yourself in accordance with the philosophy of freedom. A great majority of you are in this situation. The definition is accurate. The one, who does not fully adjust itself with the understanding is mad. The people, who exist tin this way in the society, demonstrate more different characteristics in the organisation. They are destructive in the society and disregard rules in the organisation. In fact, this is a more dangerous type of madness, which means to say that “ although we cannot adopt the philosophy, we have a philosophy of madness”. It is true that there is a philosophy of madness, but what does it worth. You have to question this.

This means that there is no way to turn in this sense too. Approval of madness does not mean choosing the right way. Many of you want this to be approved: Let me in madness the way I want. How can you live and how far can you get? Allowed to be free, this madness will only be made fun of, and bound in chains. Are you not in this situation? Is the world not making fun of us? Have they not immediately thrown us into dungeon when we wanted to do something? Tell me that this is not madness. Our political situation was madness or we were politically mad. The result has been simple captures.

There is madness in the army too. There is fighting going on regardless of rules. Thousands of casualties are the result of philosophy of madness. The peasantry cannot have a philosophy. Philosophy is the work of intelligent people, the work of developing, wilful people. We should start adjusting ourselves to it. The contrary cannot be argues. It is not a philosophy to defend madness, and it is not healthy to approve it. These are not good demands. You have to accept to change your mind. Swear everyday to cease being slaves. Just as a Muslim says his prayers before doing just anything, eating, sleeping and praying, you should swear and be repentant, which are interrelated. Pray to do the right thing.

Our prophet said “In the name of great and merciful God”! This is how every day starts. This is meaningful and is the way in which the society is trying to stand on its feet. We will certainly not be contented with this. In order to be repentant and choose the right way, we have to start each day with a prayer. Otherwise, we would be a faithless society. What would the words non-Muslim, non-believer mean? It means to fall on the dark side. If we search the pores of the society, we can find some crumbles philosophy. Even though they do not understand it, it exists. Despite the existence of capacity to live, there is no capacity to find a resource. It is hidden here and there, in pieces, which does not really help the situation.

Nevertheless, Islam was different. I believe you do not have any place left to hide. The reality of our leadership is also the fact that slavery and madness cannot find a place to hide. It means to be rational and capture the reality of infallibility. It is also a very serious school. A lot would happen to you if you were not a good student. Because this school has many enemies. Most importantly, the life that this school is trying to create is close to perfect. If you do not abide by its rules, you would find yourselves in a most intense war, a situation in which you are bound to be oppressed and defeated. The reality of our leadership does not involve patriarchal ideologies, religious projects or petty attitudes in which to hide . Self-adjustment and slavery itself cannot save you. If you talk about defence, you will be thrashed. It is because a freak cannot say anything, self-deception cannot have a language, and weakness cannot have a language. More importantly, nothing can be gained by playing with words. All the ways are closed. The reality of PKK and its school system closes them.

You may argue that it is difficult. Do not forget that you are experiencing the worst of the worst slavery. You have to adopt the principle of freedom in order to eliminate it. Anyhow, you still claim to be human. As I always say, solutions do not cease, when you adopt the great purpose and life. This is why it is difficult. Deception is the language of the slave, it cannot be defended. “I could not do it Sir” is the language of the liar, which has nowhere to turn. It is even more abject to say “I am crying and in pain”, which is also over. In this sense, if PKK is to stand by their word and honour,  and if you want to be a part of it, then you should not try to resort to the ways that should remain closed.

The doors are closed without being closed ever again. You may ask why. There are open doors. The doors of thought, action and war are open. Why do not you confidently walk in. You have to abolish the thought process that says “I am confused, feel myself to be in the middle, still under the influence of middle of the way philosophy”. This type of philosophy is a lie, which you have to leave. Being a person of the middle of the way is to remain in the middle of two classes, the oppressor and the oppressed, in the middle of beauty and ugliness as ethical concepts, being a shadow of right and wrong, being influenced by both of them. This is not the best personality. It is only about being a deceptive shadow.

This is the reason why you should not follow the middle way. The middle is not part of the reality anyhow. There is a shadow to the two classes and realities. It ends once the shadows are gone. So, do not try to make me accept your petty-bourgeois traits as a reality. It is not possible for me to take this seriously. Shadows are real too, but not essential. The reality is taking over the life itself; the enemy is getting merciless. The shadows that oppose it are being destroyed. Do not trouble yourselves. Stop playing on the middle of the way, no good can come from it. It is because the shadows are disappearing, reality is appearing to be even sharper.

So why would you not draw lessons out of it: It is clear which doors are open or closed. There are both no other ways and not desirable. Despite all that if you say, “We do not understand, the doors issue is not significant for us, they are not illuminated”, this is utter madness. You may say, “We prefer stupidity”. Stupidity cannot be defended, it is worse than madness. How dare you play to be something mad and intelligent? This is a new, protracted way. After our entire search the way of stupidity is all we found. This is a new invention too, which is quite developed in PKK. I openly tell these idiots that it is not a way to be preferred.

Ninety per cent of us follow the way of idiocy. Idiots are very dominant. However, they are naturally ineffective, not even as effective as a mad person, which is why you should stop defending it. You said that “We deceived ourselves, could not abide by the rules, remain loyal to the cause, and we could not stop being used by the enemy although we could see it clearly”. This is sheer idiocy, how dare you talk like this. Are you not ashamed of yourselves? I am amazed: Perhaps even madness can partly be defended, but it is not possible to defend idiocy. Self-deception, especially in the context of freedom, is out of order. Then, we intensely swear at you. Do not say that we are being too harsh to you, because this is what you are.

Why did you prefer idiocy as your stance? It would be surprising to say “I did not know”. Do you not have a conscience, and did you really think that you will not be reminded or taught. If so, you are being childish. A baby at the age of forty, who only cries! Can this be defended? Many of our friends are acting in idiocy. When you put a little pressure on them, they would say, “I am a baby aged forty and I only cry a lot”. How can you defend this? You are trying to get us to accept this theory while looking into our eyes. Eyes are lying. The wretched are in difficulty. You have to stop this. It is inappropriate, do not let nor the eyes or the tongues get used to lies! Why are you acting like a baby, are there not any other way? There is and I clearly showing it to you. The way of the organisation, the political way, the way to war and rules are clearly indicated. Even shepherds can be perfect. So, what else can you defend?

Then, he will try to save the situation with the theory of babyhood, which is developed after the idiocy. Its attitude is, “I am clearly a baby, who cries and complains and dirties himself”. It is very bad to politically and militarily dirty yourself. It means to avoid implementing a rule, ignoring a rule of commandership, disregarding the planning and implementation of tactical rules. They all dirty themselves. Think about it, do we have anybody who has not dirtied himself or herself. Everybody is saying, “Come and clean it”. Is there really a place for this in politics and military life?

Needless death is also act like a baby. It is because only a child dies easily. A strong warrior does not die easily, cannot be silenced. Rules cannot be subject to erosion with him. If it is so, it only means that he is stupid, mad or a baby. Nothing can be achieved with these characteristics. Does not matter how much you try to find excuses, they will not be accepted. We will not be deceived about you. What is left behind? The way is open, the way of life, war, respect, honour and success. How is this possible? You will think big and, if necessary, argue until you reach the truth. If necessary, you will be strong enough to bring it to the organisation. Being organised is not too difficult. At the end of the day, it is about human relationships.
Being human starts with organisation and relationships.

You may ask why it is difficult. A simple work requires organisation. It is a job for three people to root out a tree, not for one. This is organisation. You clearly want to defeat an enemy. This cannot be done by one person or a unit, it can be done by an army. Therefore you have to understand the army. It can be done relationships, you have to understand relationships. This is the factor found by the most primitive human. What would it mean if you still say, “I am an individualist, do not recognise anything but myself”? How far will you get with this self-deception. You cannot even feed yourself. You will be a thief like an inheritor or a cat. It means that this cannot be the way to defend yourself. In spite of all this, you continue to resort to theories of tricks. There is no other path for you to take, the only thing that is left is annihilation, being turned into ash. This means to wither away in the party and war, and if you do not intend to wither away, then, you should choose the right way. You have to be able to demonstrate the courage.

Do not take the philosophy of PKK, attitude and life-style lightly. PKK is a reality today. Personally speaking; we are a way, and neither tired of fighting or trying to realise our ambitions. We are taking each step stronger each day. This also where you are. What you previously said, “what I said cannot happen” was not the way. We should have the courage to change it. I indicated and even testified what the right way is. Who can dare to be any different, who can talk or live in any other way? While this way is so utterly clear, while the will power is so strong, how can you deceive yourself. What artificial language will you use to play with reality? When you are insistent on the reality of leadership, or when you say “My preference is the way of great freedom”, you will be a part of the whole, believing that human is the greater capacity. A free and honourable person, who is worthwhile to live, can also give a humanly meaning to respect and love. He will be able to find bread and other things. This sort of life renders the person approachable. If you still say that, “ you find it unbefitting, you deserve a good thrashing. If you say that you cannot be rehabilitated, either the enemy or the organisation will beat you up. There is no other way for you. We do not easily give up on ourselves, which would mean to turn into animals. This is an extremely inappropriate situation. Being a people, who is almost governed like animals, or actually being managed in a bad way, would be the worst of all curses. Human beings, who resemble animals in a human society! This is a very harsh judgement, which would become real if not abolished.

You may ask, “Why did you resist so much”? I was a poor child, who had nothing to rely on. There was no such thing as family, class or nation. Nor had I anybody to help me. I was unlucky and deprived in every sense. So, how did I raise myself despite this? The reason is not that I leaned on some powers, but that I experienced this regretful judgement, made it a reality for myself and demonstrated the required sensitivity. I, therefore, have done what was naturally the right thing to do by adjusting myself in this way. I see that even those, who are ready, are not able to evaluate it. They expect help from something that does not exist. There are also some calculations such as variants, arising from small to big. We do not have the philosophy of not seeing what is ready or of diminishing it.

One particular characteristic of our philosophy is to create something great out of what is about to wither away. This is an inevitable part of our reality. What does it depend on? It depends on our insistence to remain human, to insist on the acceptable aspects of life, or even to make progress in spite of it, and create a great person out of the fallen. If your claim is so strong, if you are not an idealist or deceiving yourself, you would be able to find a safe spot to step on in order to avoid burning yourself in the middle of this hellfire. This is an understandable factor.

You are deprived of everything.  You should take even the smallest opportunity very seriously, which is a requirement of the situation. You should see and evaluate a small weapon or a little context of freedom. This is the natural understanding of our way, which is why I say that, it is out of the question not to understand the requirements of our way. There is an ignorance of poverty, as well as great difficulties and fire. “We lived cheap, relying on whatever we could find” is the logic of the cursed unfaithful. He would seem to be opposing the enemy, but does other things in reality. We have such people, who we cannot forgive. Our way does not forgive such attitudes. Where will you find the strength. You will create it in yourself. The real issue for me is to be able to eat enough to think. We are providing this. What else is needed? Work and organisation are needed. You will certainly do that just as you drink water.

Education and location are not problems for the organisation. As I said, you will do these so naturally, spontaneously find the right way in war. The right method of war is like bread and water for me.

I never understood our war strategy from books. I have read the books and became a little confused. Then I learned our war strategy from our own school of life. The enemy could not reach me until now. Why? It is because these things should be learned at once according to our school of life. I look and learn. Have we not always felt it? It means that our school of life is compelling us to resort to it. You are in great difficulty, and have to continue to exist. This allows you to comprehend the war, which is why saying that, “I cannot find a way out of the problems of war” is to deceive yourself. On the other hand, you are unaware of life, which is a great deceitfulness. We are in need of life almost more than anybody else is, so that we should respect life and realise it.

What does it mean to not to know how to live in the country? Could it be possible to be unaware of the meaning of life as freedom is more important than bread and water, which are actually interrelated in life? It goes without saying. They used to say sinful and non-believer. In other words, we have to take care to know our philosophy, measures in approach, to make ourselves dominant. Moreover, this should be our basic necessity. When you are able to provide this, everything in politics, military, culture and economy would settle down and complete one another. Avoiding this means to would mean to totally change your mind about life. Whichever way or method you choose, it just destroys meaningfulness, which is bound to fail.

Therefore, we have to apply the conception of leadership of our party and war to our ideas, souls, and actions, in order to create great leaders and hence warriors.
