Treating Kurdish Lives with Contempt

Huseyin Ali - Turkey discusses release of Hezbollah leaders and their involvement in murders.

Indeed, a shocking development. Beyond the political and legal scandals, releasing those responsible for makeshift graves where hundreds of bodies were found, that event will create a moral collapse in society. After this incident no one can respect law and justice.

It has not traced such people who committed so many murders and it has not found the organization. There was nothing more shocking than this in the history of Turkey. In the face of these tombs and these events, even those who are natural pessimists said, "It could not be this much".

Only those which are hard to be understood by humanity; could be seen in horror movies and Turkish society has watched those like a horror movie. Perhaps at those times, many people´s spiritual world had been broken.

Even while I am writing this article, I am still surprised at how such a release could happen. If they are being released, there should be no one in the prisons of Turkey. Even the most serious common crimes remain mild by comparison with these crimes. The release in no way can be explained.  To be released into the community, without a clear serving of sentence is uncommon.

This is one aspect of the whole incident. Another aspect is the use of these people by the Turkish state against the Kurdish Struggle for Freedom. That was the most corrupted side of the war implemented by Turkish state after 1992. They, and the majority of them were Kurds, massacred many Kurdish patriots. This aspect of the history of Kurds could be said that it was the worst kind of betrayal. Kurdish people had been stabbed in the back.

None of those killed were PKK militants nor were they party members, but 95 % of them could be described as supporters and patriots. Only 5 % of them were PKK sympathizers. They, Hezbollah, have become the tools of imperialists and colonialists which is practiced everywhere against freedom fighters.

"Drain the water and kill the fish"

Those decisions have been taken in detail by the state itself, the Hezbollah organization was fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). This decision is at the cosmic rooms of the general army stuff. That period is known to run JITEM and Hezbollah was bred. National Intelligence Organization (MIT) is also another actor in the planning of this dirty war. Archives of these organized counter-attacks are available at MIT. MIT reported how permanently carried out and the results of this dirty war to his centres.

And it is well known that the murders were held under supervision of the police and the gendarmerie. Otherwise, the public would have finished them by themselves. In the conditions prevailing in those days, these kinds of murders could not be done without the support of state protection. Many studies have been presented about this reality already. Kurdish people know it very well. Kurds already revealed how they saw these attacks which they defined as “Hizbul-kontra” from the very beginning.

Another striking point is that all Islamic political communities, media, organizations found the victims guilty, but not the perpetrators of the murders. If it is searched at first archives of press community and political Islamic media, that will be found that they were supporters of this dirty war and they legalised it. There was no opposing attitude.

These incidents remind us once again of the dark face of that era. That showed that the Turkish state may resort to any method to crush the Freedom Struggle of the Kurds. Certainly those used mostly were not directly state agents. However, what they did were more dirty and betrayal than what agents would have done.

Of course the Kurdish people knew them well. They have a deep understanding about these kinds of attacks and organizations. Even if the younger generations may be unaware of this dirty war, Kurds over 25 years old have seen this very well. In other words, the Kurdish people know very well what is happening.

We do not know how their lives will be, the ones who are free. However, the majority of those people realized that they were used. After being used, they saw how their leaders were killed. Their leaders might also have entered into a mutual use. The result is that everyone has seen actual user and at the end of job is the state.

If it could takeover, the Turkish state would not leave any evidence by killing many of those used in this dirty war. It already eliminated many people used in order to cover up any evidence. It is a lie that their faces were changed by plastic surgery and they have been sent to other places. Indeed, most of them were killed. For instance, Alaeddin Kanat who is called general Zinar is one of them.

We hope that those released took lessons from past. They will not be instruments of dirty state policy. Because as long as not solving Kurdish problem, the state continues to dirty fight. For this purpose, the state uses many others.

Hezbollah and others must know that Turkey is a private war state against the Kurds. The state is structured as a private war state against the Kurds. All policies and practices are a private war towards the goal of to destroy national existence of the Kurds. Not to intent to decision and to solve the Kurdish problem, today Turkey is a special state of war and psychological state of war against the Kurds. It engages in a multi-dimensional dirty war.

It can be seen better by Hezbollah militants in prison. Comments made about those released say that they will be used as opponents of the new Ergenekon by the AKP.

I guess in this situation, they will suffer greatly again. The most accurate way those released is to apologize to especially with all the organizational structure of the Kurdish people and all of Turkey and to start a new life (including political life) in society.
